How Mindfulness Training Can Boost Your Immune System?
We know about the power of diet and exercise in our effort to train and maintain our immune systems. But there’s something I consider an even more powerful modifier of immunologic health: achieving optimal mental and spiritual health.
The basis of this belief lies in the fact that the brain is intimately connected to every organ in the body, especially the immune system. It may seem a bit counterintuitive that our brain is directly connected to our vital organs, but think about it for a moment: Have you ever had a gut feeling about something?
Well, that’s exactly what I’m talking about, for sometimes our thoughts are manifested in other organ systems, like when we have that queasy feeling in our stomach that something bad is about to happen.
How does stress affect the immune system?

What about immunity? Well, remember what your mother told you about not getting over done? Not burning the candle at both ends, physically or mentally?
Turns out that was a solid bit of counsel, for in those situations we can undoubtedly run down our immune system, which can lead to an increase in bodily inflammation — something we don’t want. Bodily inflammation increases our propensity for numerous diseases and leaves us vulnerable to common infections.
The reasons for this are complex, but let me try to break it down simply. Stress in its acute form, the so-called fight-or-flight response, is good. Our ancestors learned this when they were threatened by saber-toothed tigers.
Stress on a chronic level (such as worries about job or financial security, relationships, health of yourself or your loved ones) is not good, and over time, it can knock down our immunologic health.

Can a Vegan Diet Help you lose weight? Here the Benefit and Fact
Can a vegan diet help you lose weight?
A vegan diet eliminates all animal products, including meat, dairy and eggs, and focuses on plant-based foods and drinks instead. Unlike vegetarians, who may still consume dairy or eggs, vegans remove all animal byproducts and foods and replace them with other vitamin and protein-rich foods like leafy greens, beans, nuts and whole grains.
Some vegans eat a plant-based diet, but not all plant-based diets are vegan. It’s crucial that you remember the difference between a vegan diet and a plant-based diet. You could eat nothing but junk food and still technically get away with calling yourself vegan. A plant-based diet requires you eat fruits, vegetables and whole grains while minimizing refined sugars, salt and foods that come from animals.
While many people will naturally lose weight when switching to a vegan diet due to the reduction of calories and increase of fiber that’s part of most vegan diets, it is possible to be unhealthy and even gain weight on a vegan diet if you do it wrong.
In this video, we look at the link between veganism and weight loss, including what foods to eat and if there are any risks. We also list some tips for people looking to lose weight with a vegan diet.

Can Supplements Help Combat COVID-19? Vitamins and Supplements To Boost Immune Health for COVID-19
An important note
No supplement will cure or prevent disease.
With the 2019 coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, it’s especially important to understand that no supplement, diet, or other lifestyle modification other than social distancing and proper hygiene practices can protect you from COVID-19.
The recent COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak causes a variety of telltale signs and symptoms, ranging from fever and dry cough, to more extreme symptoms requiring immediate medical help such as difficulty breathing and confusion.
We do not currently have any vaccines or antiviral medications that specifically prevent, cure, or treat COVID-19, so treatment will usually involve managing symptoms with supportive treatments.
If you have relatively mild COVID-19 symptoms and don’t have any other medical conditions that would put you at high risk for developing complications of COVID-19 (over the age of 65, diabetes, COPD, heart disease, kidney disease, HIV, asthma, undergoing cancer treatment), these vitamins and supplements might help strengthen your immune system to fight coronavirus.
It is important to note that no vitamin or supplement can cure COVID-19, nor is there solid evidence any non-FDA-approved vitamin or supplement has any effect on COVID-19. Immune supporting effects of supplements and vitamins in the context of the coronavirus is theoretical.
Vitamins and supplements may interact with one another in your system and with prescription or over-the-counter medications. Notify your doctor about all the drugs and supplements you are taking, and do not start a vitamin regimen without consulting your physician.

The only way to overcome this hurdle is to
teach him.

First, let’s answer the question: “Is it hard to train my child to

The short answer is no. Training is
synonymous with learning and babies love to learn – even when it comes to
sleeping. They suck in new information as if it were warm milk.

However, some parents think of it as hard because

Of course not.

Green tea and weight loss
Green tea is thought to aid weight loss by boosting the body’s metabolism.
The processes that allow the body to convert food and drink into usable energy are collectively known as the metabolism. Green tea may be beneficial for weight loss by helping the body’s metabolism to be more efficient.
Green tea contains caffeine and a type of flavonoid called catechin, which is an antioxidant. Research suggests that both of these compounds can speed up metabolism. Catechin can help to break down excess fat, while both catechin and caffeine can increase the amount of energy the body uses.
